What a busy and wonderful first week in Grade ¾! It has been so nice to get to know everyone, learning, and of course having lots of fun!
I can use media and techniques, with an emphasis on mixing media and perfecting techniques in drawing, painting, print making, sculpture, fabric arts, photography and technographic arts.
One of the highlights from our week has been our paper self portrait art. Students began by drawing a self portrait and then starting cutting out their different features in colored paper. We learned to use the windows as a lightbox in order to trace our features. Our portraits are coming along nicely and we will be putting the finishing touches on them next week.

This week we began to reintroduce math concepts through different math games. Students got the chance to play Place Value Battleship, Race to 100, Fill The Stairs, and Addition War. A
